What Real Customers Have To Say

I have been struggling with an auto-immune inflammatory disease for years now. Although I have been feeling much better lately, the one thing I continue to struggle with is my energy level. A very full night's sleep is a requirement for me to make it through a day at work. After working I never have the energy to motivate myself to do much more than eat dinner, lay on the couch, and then go to sleep. I have tried multiple times to get myself into a workout regimen but the fatigue has always won over me. I have tried many things in the past to help me through this. I have gone through numerous diet changes, eating meat, not eating meat, eliminating all from my diet and adding things back one by one, taking out all GMOs, MSG, artificial sweeteners, you name it and I have done it. Tried countless amounts of teas and supplements. Got a new bed and pillows. Nothing has helped me feel "good". At my age, 26, I should be full of life! About two months ago I started taking liver and heart. Within a couple of days I noticed I no longer had the urge to nap and have been so full of energy. I have even started staying up later and feeling completely rejuvenated in the morning. I even started exercising every day after work! It is a great feeling to be awake and have the energy that those around me feel. My body and mind feel so full of youth! I can't thank Blue River Herbs enough for introducing me to this life saver!

Nicole P. | Teacher

Before I started taking Blue River Herbs Grass-Fed Liver capsules, I had dizziness and low energy on a regular basis for about 5 months. I do my best to cook healthy meals (not a vegetarian but gluten sensitive). I exercise frequently. I just couldn't shake off my symptoms. Since taking Grass Fed Liver, my dizziness and low energy have subsided tremendously. I feel more grounded and clear headed. I'm so thrilled to have found this supplement! My mind and body are back in sync.

Keisha C.

Since I started taking Blue River Herbs Grass-Fed Liver capsules I have been sleeping deeply through the night, no longer do I wake 1-2 times a night to use the bathroom. Though I still am clumsy, I no longer bruise and I have more energy!

Robertta M. | retired Computer Analyst

Prior to utilizing Blue River Herbs Grass-Fed Liver and Heart, I experimented with many different herbal supplements. Most of the time I felt little effect on my overall health, and would waste good money looking for something that suited my needs. As a professional I value cognitive energy, especially early in the morning. After taking grass-fed liver and heart pills from Blue River Herbs, I immediately notice on overall positive effect on both my mental and physical energy. I noticed how sharp my thinking became with regular ingestion of the herbs. They are a great breakfast themselves or simply with some fruit. If I somehow forget to take them in the AM I notice a significant decrease in my "horsepower" and will try and stop home at lunch to get the daily recommended dose. I give much thanks to Blue River for keeping my whole body healthy in a completely organic manner.

Liver is the part that all predators eat first when they kill a large animal.

There is a good reason for this…

Liver contains more nutrients, gram for gram,
than any other food.

Liver’s Anti-Fatigue Factor

Liver’s anti-fatigue factor is best described by an observational study performed by Benjamin H. Ershoff, PhD. Dr. Ershoff’s article was published in the Proceedings of the Society for Experimental Biology and Medicine in July 1951, when doctor’s still believed in nutrition.

Dr. Ershoff divided laboratory rats into three groups:

Group 1:    Basic diet + 11 vitamins
Group 2:    Basic diet + 11 vitamins + B vitamins
Group 3:    Basic diet + 10 percent of rations as powdered liver

After several weeks, the animals were placed one by one into a drum of cold water from which they could not climb out. They were forced to sink or swim.

Experiment Results

Group 1:    Rats swam for an average of 13.3 minutes before giving up
Group 2:    Rats swam for an average of 13.4 minutes before giving up
Group 3:    3 rats swam for 63, 83 and 87 minutes. The other 9 rats were still swimming vigorously at the end of two hours when the test was terminated.1

Most of the rats fed liver swam almost 9x longer than the rats receiving synthetic B vitamins!

Something in the liver had prevented these rats from becoming exhausted. This has become known as liver’s notorious anti-fatigue factor.

The Body’s Hormone Regulator

The liver is the most important organ of metabolism. It is responsible for nearly 500 functions that affect the entire body, including regulating the hormones.

Normal liver function depends upon the amount of hormones in the blood. This is regulated not only by the endocrine glands but to a large degree by the liver itself.

The liver synthesizes proteins that act as hormone carriers. It also manufactures and regulates testosterone and estrogen. In fact, the estrogen receptors in the liver are critical for maintaining fertility.

As long as the liver is healthy, it is able to maintain the normal balance of blood hormone levels, even when the endocrine glands are over or under-active.2

In fact, there is evidence that a compound found in liver is capable of enhancing the effect of deficient hormones and vitamins and at the same time counteracting the effects of excess hormones and vitamins.3

Maintaining a healthy liver is essential to maintaining the blood hormone levels of youth. When the hormone levels of youth are restored, the body becomes vibrant at any age. Consuming grass-fed liver provides your body with the nutritional support it needs to produce and maintain the hormone levels of youth and regeneration.

The Liver and Regeneration

The liver is the only organ capable of regenerating itself. Thirty-five years ago, Japanese researchers identified a compound in liver that is responsible for this remarkable phenomenon. It is called HGF, or Hepatocyte (liver cell) Growth Factor.

Recently, a research group in Mexico City studying mice with cirrhosis (advanced liver disease) published their groundbreaking discoveries on the properties of HGF.

These researchers reported:

“HGF turns on routes to produce natural antioxidant compounds in our body, for example a small tripeptide called glutathione which works as a very important antioxidant and liver protector.”
“We have seen in this laboratory that HGF notably increases the production of glutathione and other protector compounds, not just for the liver, but for all the organs in the body: lungs, kidneys, pancreas, etc. When this natural antioxidant is induced to increase its production, it protects the body from the toxic effects of many compounds like alcohols.”

Glutathione, The Master Antioxidant

Glutathione is the most powerful antioxidant ever discovered and it’s made right inside our bodies. Glutathione is a small protein that prevents damage to important cellular components (DNA, RNA, mitochondria, etc.) caused by reactive oxygen species such as free radicals and peroxides.

Not only does glutathione protect your cells, but it is also required in DNA synthesis and repair, protein synthesis, and enzyme activation. Glutathione affects every system in the body, especially the immune system, the nervous system, the digestive system and the lungs.

Glutathione has its own powerful antioxidant properties, but its real power comes from its ability to regenerate other antioxidants in the body, such as vitamin C and vitamin E.

Glutathione is not something that you can take in supplement form because the digestive system breaks it down before it can be absorbed. The best way to increase the glutathione production in your body is through the consumption of grass-fed liver, which contains all of the precursor amino acids and HGF to stimulate its production.

An Important Fact You Need to Know about Grass-Fed Liver and HGF

You can’t just take any desiccated liver product and expect to get the benefits of HGF.

Here’s why…

Commercial processing methods, including freeze-drying (also called lyophilization), destroy HGF and other delicate growth factors.4

This means that desiccated liver products that are freeze-dried contain little to no hepatocyte growth factor.

Blue River Herbs Grass-Fed Liver is the only grass-fed liver product on the market that is processed in a manner that preserves the extremely delicate and valuable hepatocyte growth factor and enzymes.

The Detoxifier

One of the roles of the liver is to neutralize toxins (such as drugs, chemical agents and poisons), but the liver does not store toxins. The liver is a storage organ for many important nutrients: vitamins A, D, E, K, B12 and folic acid, and minerals such as copper and iron. These nutrients, along with an abundance of enzymes, provide the body with many of the tools it needs to process and eliminate toxins.

As far back as 1926, Akira Sato, a Japanese researcher, published a report on a compound he identified in the water-soluble extract of liver that he named “Yakriton” or “Detoxicating Hormone”. Sato’s laboratory went on to publish over 100 papers on the therapeutic effects of yakriton.

It is not necessary to consume yakriton in order obtain its detoxifying effects. Since yakriton is found in the water-soluble extract of liver it is present in whole liver as well.

There is good reason to consume whole liver instead of extracts.

According to Dr. Ershoff, “liver contains at least two factors, apparently distinct from any of the known nutrients, whose requirements may be increased under conditions of stress.”

Blue River Herbs Grass-Fed Liver capsules contains whole grass-fed liver and therefore contains this powerful hormone named Yakriton as well as all the other vitamins, minerals and enzymes only found in whole liver.

Consumption of whole liver has been shown to counteract the deleterious effects of massive doses of toxins. Strychnine (Battelli, ’40), sulfanilamide (Chamelin and Funk, ’43), promin (Higgins, ’44; Ershoff and McWilliams, ’49), atabrine (Erskoff, ’48b, ’50a) and dinitrophenol (Ershoff, ’50b). Similar results have been observed following the administration of toxic doses of diethylstilbestrol (Chamelin and Funk, ’43), alphaestradiol (Ershoff and McWilliams, ’48a), desiccated thyroid (Ershoff, ’47a, b; Betheil et al., ’47), thyroxin, thyroglobulin and iodinated casein (Ershoff and McWilliams, ’48b) and cortisone acetate (Ershoff, ’51b, ’53a).

Of course, we should consume liver from healthy animals. The best choice is liver from animals that spend their lives outdoors and on pasture. Blue River Herbs Grass-Fed Liver capsules provide the freshest and highest quality liver in a convenient form, making it easy for you experience the benefits of grass-fed liver without any hassle.

An Abundance of Bioavailable Nutrients

Liver contains more nutrients, gram for gram, than any other food. These nutrients are all very bioavailable, making them easy for your body to absorb and use. Liver is:

• A rich source of enzymes
• An excellent source of high-quality protein
• A great source of fat-soluble vitamins A, D, E & K
• All the B Vitamins in abundance, especially B12
• One of the best sources of folic acid
• A highly usable source of iron
• Essential trace elements, such as copper, zinc & selenium
• CoQ10, a nutrient that is crucial for heart function
• Anti-fatigue factor
• Detoxifying hormone, yakriton

Stimulates Red Blood Cell Production

Liver is a potent hematopoietic stimulant.5 This means that it triggers the body to produce more red blood cells.

The body relies on red blood cells to carry oxygen to every cell in the body and carry carbon dioxide away. This process is critical for life.

Improving the quality and quantity of red blood cells has the ability to increase cellular oxygen levels, therefore enhancing cellular energy. One of the great benefits of increased cellular energy is better digestion and assimilation of food which contributes to better overall health.

Protects Against Radiation

The half-life of most radioactive substances is thousands of years. In 2011, the Fukushima nuclear disaster became the largest nuclear incident since the Chernobyl disaster in 1986. As the Fukushima disaster continues to leak radioactive material into our environment and the radiation from Chernobyl continuing to circulate, it’s important to take preventive measures to protect our bodies from this damaging radiation exposure.

Whole liver has been proven to protect against sublethal doses of radiation6, the same dosage all humans on the planet are exposed to as a result of the Fukushima and Chernobyl nuclear disasters.

Blue River Herbs Grass-Fed Liver capsules provide the freshest and highest quality whole liver in a convenient form, making it easy for you obtain the radio-protective benefits of whole liver without any hassle.

Traditional Wisdom

Liver is revered by traditional cultures around the world. Throughout most of recorded history humans regarded liver as a source of great strength and as providing almost magical curative powers.

African hunter-gatherer tribes considered liver so sacred that they never touched it with their hands, only with their spears.

Southern hunters have a tradition of eating the liver of their freshly killed deer as a “manly” thing to do.

The Japanese consider liver an important food for pregnant women.

A Chinese handbook of rituals published during the Han era (202 BC and 220 AD) lists liver as one of the Eight Delicacies.

When you make the choice to consume grass-fed liver, you are in good company, embracing the wisdom of our ancestors.

Why Grass-Fed?

An animal’s diet affects the flavor and quality of its tissues. Animals raised on pasture are eating their ideal diet of grass and weeds. These animals don’t need hormones or antibiotics because they grow strong and stay vibrant by eating their natural diet.

Grass-fed animals are significantly healthier than their feed-lot counterparts. This difference is observable in the higher nutrition content and quality of their meat and organs.

Raising animals on pasture is healthy for people, great for the animal and better for our environment.

nutrient-synergy

What This Means

When nutrients come together in specific quantities and ratios, their power becomes amplified.

With nutrient synergy, the sum is greater than the parts.

1 + 1 = 3 or more

The result: An anti-fatigue factor that modern science can observe, but cannot identify.
